Trustpilot and Google seller ratings

How to get seller review stars for your Google Ads campaigns to increase CTR and help improve your quality score. The following explains how seller ratings and Trustpilot reviews are displayed on Google.

What are seller reviews?
Seller reviews are an automated Google Ads extension that displays businesses with high ratings. The reviews are collected from several reputable sources, including Trustpilot, and aggregated on a scale of 1 to 5. In addition to the number of stars, the rating includes the number of reviews the business has received and a qualifier (such as average delivery time) relevant to the company's rating. Google decides on the qualification and in some cases may choose not to display anything at all.

What do seller reviews look like?
Seller ratings are displayed as stars in the main text of your ad. Seller review stars are displayed in your text ads for Google Search Networks and on Google Shopping.

How do I qualify for seller reviews?
You must have 100 verified reviews from a given country, with a composite rating of 3.5 stars, collected in the past 12 months. For example:

If a business wants to show seller ratings in the UK, it needs 100 verified reviews from the UK, collected in the last 12 months.
If a business wants to show seller ratings in the UK and the US, it needs 100 verified reviews from the UK and 100 verified reviews from the US, all collected in the past 12 months.

How do Trustpilot reviews appear on Google?
Every day we generate a feed of service reviews from our business users. This feed is then collected by Google, along with feeds from other reputable sources, to create an aggregated seller review.

Trustpilot Business users should allow for a delay of up to 6 weeks from the time Google receives our review data until it appears on Google. If you have reached the seller rating requirements and have waited more than 6 weeks and still see nothing, we recommend that you contact Google directly.

Find your seller rating

To find your business's Google seller rating profile, use the following address:

https://www.google.com/shopping/ratings/account/lookup?q={uwwebsite}.
Vul gewoon uw website-adres in in plaats van “{uw website}”.

This page will remain blank until you qualify for seller reviews.

If you want to check your seller reviews, we recommend using Google' s Ad Preview tool. This is a safe way to view seller reviews in Google without disrupting your ads. Constantly searching for seller reviews, especially without clicking through, can negatively affect the relevance of your campaign and lead to poor ad performance.

Considerations
-
Google uses proprietary logic to ensure that only high-quality reviews are used for seller ratings and does not provide specific details about the algorithms that generate an advertiser's seller ratings.
- Google does not guarantee that seller reviews will be displayed even if you meet all of their guidelines.
- Google does not display seller ratings for every impression. Google stops displaying a seller review if a user repeatedly triggers an ad without clicking through.
- Reviews must usually come from one of Trustpilot's verified invitation services to qualify for Google Seller Ratings.
- Not all verified Trustpilot reviews will show up on your Google Seller Reviews page, but they will still count toward your Google Seller Ratings.
- We do not know when Google includes our review feed, how often Google updates the review data or which reviews Google chooses to include.
- Trustpilot does not generate reviews that contain foul language.
